Portraits

I have been drawing, painting and otherwise trying to make marks in enrest now since about 1996. My main subject has been portraits, or as I prefer to call them, "heads." I draw and paint people's heads, close-cropped and large on the canvas or paper. These are not literal portraits. They are distorted, exaggerated, changed. Please don't be offended if your picture does not look like you -- if I wanted a great likeness I would take your picture with a camera. I always enjoy seeing what comes from hands and materials filtered by my eyes and brain. It is a narcissistic endeavor.
